Hi! I am Melisa Rana, a graphic designer and photographer based in Omaha. Feel free to stay as long as you want to learn more about my work and me.

  • My interest in photography was the reason I decided to pursue graphic design at UNO. I love using the variety of adobe programs and wanted to learn more. Beautifully designed branding, layouts, and packages are my obsession.

  • I have been taking photos for 4 years now but my interest started in high school. If you need a photographer for graduation, headshots, senior year, small events, or any portrait related shoots then I am your gal! I love collaborating with my clients on any ideas they have and helping them with creative direction.

Hi!

I’m Melisa Rana, a graphic designer currently working at National Property Inspection. Before that, I gained experience as a graphic design intern at Sojern, where I continued to grow my skills in visual communication.

My earlier experiences include being an artist-in-residence intern at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, where I assisted artist Joseph Wilcox with his creative process. I also worked as a gallery assistant at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, focusing on collection protection and guest relations.

I’ve always been drawn to visual storytelling. I actually started with photography before diving into design. My curiosity for editing photos naturally led me to pursue graphic design at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Today, I design, shoot, and edit using everything I’ve learned along the way. I find inspiration in the people around me, nature, and traveling, and I’m always exploring new ways to refine my style in a way that feels true to me.

Outside of work, you can find me cooking, going on road trips, discovering great playlists, hiking, or spending time with friends and family.
